Pilgrims in this World

“These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.” – Hebrews 11:13

I am sure glad that I am only a pilgrim in this world. However, I pray continually for my children and grandchildren as they face the future in this wicked world. I fear for America as I have never feared before. It seems as though the floodgates of Hell have been opened upon us and some are tempted to surrender and be swept along with the torrent.

However, we have the Lord to sustain us through the persecutions and troubles to come.

Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

I hereby do make a promise to my family, to my friends, to my church, and especially to my Lord that I will not quit, I will not give up, I will not waiver, I will not allow the Devil a victory in my life, but I will continue the battle for the Lord, because I know I am on the winning side.

"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith."  1 John 5:4
